The John B. Gorrie Foundation is excited to announce the rebranding of our after school “MAGIC Clubs” programming! Historically, the acronym “M.A.G.I.C.” stood for making academic gains in clubs; its core purpose was to serve those students that benefitted from additional after school tutoring.
Over the years, our after school programming has expanded its focus to a more comprehensive supplement, offering students a chance to explore interests, develop skills, and socialize outside of regular class time!
Introducing PAWS UP:
As a result, the Foundation decided to rebrand to reflect these changes, and we are thrilled to present: PAWS UP: Promoting Arts, Wellness & Success (through) Unique Programs!
From arts and wellness to enrichment activities and social development, PAWS UP offers students a fun and well-rounded after-school experience that goes beyond the classroom.
2026-2027 session details:
Session 1: Monday, Sept. 14 - Thursday, Nov. 19, 2026
Registration: Tuesday, Sept. 8 at 8:30pm
NOTE: Registration will not open until Tuesday, Sept. 8 at 8:30pm
Session 2: Wednesday, Jan. 20 - Thursday, March 18, 2027
Registration: Tuesday, Jan. 12 at 8:30pm
Session 3: Monday, March 31 - Thursday, May 20
Registration: Tuesday, March 16 at 8:30pm
