PAWS UP Session 1: 2026-2027

Monday:  Pickleball: Grades 1-3

Fee is $225 per student - Led by All Court Tennis instructors. Students will learn the basics of Pickleball in a fun and supportive environment. They will develop their hand-eye coordination, learn how to serve and hit the ball, and have a great time playing with peers

Monday: ARt with AR Workshop Tampa: Grades 1-5

Fee is $275 per student - Led by AR Workshop Tampa. Get your kids in 'extracurricular creative-mode' this school yeAR with our ARt series! Your child will get crafty while gaining skills and an understanding of the materials and techniques used at AR Workshop Tampa. They will create fun and inspiring ARt as well as make friends and memories that last!

MONDAY: Basketball: Grades 1-5

Fee is $200 per student - Led by United Ballers Youth Sports. United Ballers Basketball provides FUN skills-based lessons, games and matches! We welcome all skill levels and split up the different grade levels on separate courts. United Ballers -- where ballers are born!

MONDAY: The Rock Athletics: Grades K-5

Fee is $215 per student - Led by The Rock instructors, our program helps kids grow into strong, confident, and versatile athletes. Through age appropriate movement, obstacles, and games, we develop physical, mental, and emotional skills. We encourage risk-taking, resilience, teamwork, and body awareness—building kids to be Strong, Fearless, and Unstoppable.

WEDNESDAY: Bricks 4 Kidz®: Grades 1-2

Led by Mrs. Ona. Your child will learn science, technology, engineering, math and the arts with a different LEGO® model build theme each week, such as Outer Space, LEGO® City, Super Mario Bros, Roblox, Minecraft, Harry Potter, Pokémon, Superheroes, Ninjago and much more!

WEDNESDAY: Kickball: Grades 1-2

Led by Coach Brooks & Mrs. Demao. This fun and active club gives kids a chance to run, kick, and play in a friendly team environment. With exciting games and plenty of laughter, it's the perfect way to burn off energy, make new friends, and learn teamwork skills

WEDNESDAY: World Travelers: Grades 1-2

Led by Mrs. Jeckel & Mrs. Klein. Immerse yourself in the culture of different countries! Fill out a passport as we explore a new country each week through traditions, food, games, and geography! Join your pilots Mrs. Jeckel and Mrs. Klein for some worldwide fun!

WEDNESDAY: Gorrie Rockettes: Grades 1-4

Led by Mrs. Gutierrez & Mrs. McEwen. 5, 6, 7, 8... Warm up those jazz hands and get ready to dance! Gorrie Rockettes will learn the basics of musical theatre and jazz genres of dance, learn how to be in a kick line, and show off a dance performance at the end of the session! Dance accessories will be provided!

WEDNESDAY: Edible STEM Club: Grades 1-4

Led by Mrs. Gray & Ms. Fernandez. Where science meets snacks! In Edible STEM Club, students will explore exciting STEM concepts through hands-on, edible experiments. We’ll make colorful creations, discover surprising food reactions, and learn the science behind some of our favorite treats! Mix it. Make it. Experiment with it. EAT it! Come ready to think like a scientist and snack like a chef

WEDNESDAY: Minecraft Education: Grades 3-5

Led by Mrs. Mahoney. Unlock your creativity and build a better world with Minecraft! Our club is the perfect place to collaborate with friends on exciting in-game projects. Learn new skills in coding, design, and teamwork. Explore educational worlds and solve real-world problems through creative problem solving. Participate in weekly challenges and competitions. No experience required-just bring your imagination!

WEDNESDAY: Fashion Design Club: Grades 3-5

Led by Ms. Jones & Ms. Dohls. Do you love clothes, colors, and creativity? Join the Fashion Design Club, where students become designers and bring their ideas to life! Inspired by Project Runway, this club gives young creators the chance to sketch, design, and create their own outfits from start to finish.

WEDNESDAY: BUILD BIG: Grades 3-5

Led by Ms. Barmore & Mrs. Ramirez. Get ready to think big, get creative, and build! In this hands-on club, students will learn how to plan, design, and construct large-scale, 3D sculptures using a variety of exciting materials.

WEDNESDAY: Drama/Improv: Grades 3-5

Led by Mr. Berrios. Whether a life-long performer or just interested in trying something new, this club is for you! Students will build performance skills with fun drama games and activities, and will work together to write and perform skits. The session culminates in the students writing, producing, and performing plays of their own

THURSDAY: Mud Magic: Grades 1 & 2 ONLY

Led by Ms. Barmore & Mrs. Ramirez. During this club, your little artist will learn and practice hand-building ceramic techniques to build incredible ceramic sculptures. Each session will feature artwork with a correlating read aloud

THURSDAY: Books & Cooks: Grades 1-2

Led by Mrs. DeMao & Ms. Gutierrez. Cook up some reading fun! Kids will create art and cooking projects based on some of our favorite stories. A delightful way to spend the afternoon for budding chefs and storytellers. *Please notify teachers of any food allergies*

THURSDAY: Wiffle Ball: Grades 1-2

Led by Ms. Pozo & Ms. Owens. Calling all baseball fans and little league sluggers! Join us for an exciting session of fun, competition, and friendly matches

THURSDAY: Gorrie Cheer: Grades 1-4

Led by Mrs. Mahoney & Mrs. McEwen. Get ready to show Gorrie Spirit! Cheerleaders will learn Gorrie cheers, the basics of cheerleading moves, stunting, and show them off at the end of the PAWS UP session volleyball game! Pom poms and a special cheer surprise will be included!

THURSDAY: Coding & Game Design: Grades 1-5

Fee is $250 per student - Led by CodeFu Tampa. Students embark on a creative coding adventure where they will create a series of games and projects throughout the club season using visual, block-based coding, following the game design workflow: plan → build → test → debug → improve. They’ll create with purpose while strengthening their programming fundamentals and exploring the back-end systems and logic behind game development. Students will explore bonus demo activities featuring AI, machine learning, and robotics. CodeFu encourages creativity, critical thinking, persistence, and problem-solving. No prior coding experience is required! Experienced coders tackle challenge extensions such as harder mechanics, level variations, and new constraints. By the end of the season, students will have gained confidence to CODE, CREATE & INNOVATE while developing a future ready skill set in a fun, hands-on environment. The season ends with an Arcade Showcase where family and friends are invited to celebrate and experience students’ creations

THURSDAY: Broadway Bound: Grades 1-5

Led by Mrs. Tamargo & Mr. Berrios. Join us for an exciting after-school musical theater club designed to inspire creativity, build confidence, and foster a love of the performing arts. Students will explore the magic of Broadway through singing, acting, dancing, and storytelling while developing important skills such as teamwork, communication, and self expression.

THURSDAY: LEGO Robotics: Grades 3-5

Led by Ms. Jones. In this fun club for grades 3, 4 and 5, students get an exciting, hands-on opportunity to explore robotics, engineering, coding, and technology. Students will design, build, and program Lego creations while developing important skills in creative thinking, collaboration, communication, and problem-solving

THURSDAY: Wiffle Ball: Grades 3-5

Led by Coach Brooks & Mrs. Watson. Step up to the plate and have fun with friends! Players will learn skills, play games, and enjoy friendly competition, all while building teamwork and confidence. Bring your energy and love of the game

WEDNESDAY & THURSDAY: Volleyball: Grades 4-5 (must take both days)

Fee is $350 student - Led by Mrs. Hernandez & Mrs. A. Anderson: Bump, Set, Spike! This highly sought after club will be open to boys and girls and will be tournament style. Students will learn the rules and regulations of volleyball and will be teamed up with their peers to compete in a co-ed volleyball tournament against the teachers!
